Movember

I received a text yesterday from an old family friend asking me to pass along a website.... Um, ok?  What's all this about?  He tells me he's growing a Mo for cancer charity.  Very cool, but um, what's a Mo?!?!

Turns out it's a moustache and he's beginning to sprout one.  His website can be found by clicking here which is complete with pictures along the way.

They call it "Movember" and the entire month he's not allowed to shave.  Trust me, he will not be attractive with a moustache (he was struggling with the good looks before this all started), but I'm so happy he's doing this for such a good cause in honor of men's health!

Their website states: "The funds raised in the US support prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. The funds raised are directed to programs run directly by Movember and our men’s health partners, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Together, the three channels work together to ensure that Movember funds are supporting a broad range of innovative, world-class programs in line with our strategic goals in the areas of awareness and education, survivorship and research."

Personally, I'm hoping he goes for the Magnum P.I. look.
