Back in August, my good friend Liz had a wonderful idea to purchase Whale Watching tickets from Captain John. We got them from Eversave for only $18 when originally tickets are about $36. It was worth $36!
We took the 9am boat out of Plymouth and had an absolute blast! We must have seen at least 30 whales and they were incredibly lively and having a ball of a time on the warm summer day. The very first whale we saw unfortunately lost its tail and our boat called a research group out to come help him and study him. Poor little calve (ok, not so little) was having a rough time but was awfully sweet and cute all the same (yes, I just described an animal that could eat me in one bite as "sweet and cute").

Most of all, Katarina had an incredible time! In fact, my child that doesn't really speak at all asked whenever the whales went under water "where'd it go?"
